Cricket History

So cricket is one of the most unique sports in the world. It takes poise, its takes character, and although the stands are loud all the time, it’s one of the most slow sports in the world. The sport itself has more decency compared to many sports as there is a certain culture to cricket compared to other sports. Years of hard work from international countries knowing how to sharpen their athlete's years of heritage of each country. The sport is so beautiful.

Top-Tier Athletes from Cricket

So many talented countries are a part of the sport Cricket. Australia, India, South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Pakistan. Every country has its talent. So much talent comes and goes that it stinks to see the talent go because they all get forgotten about. Not specifically mentioning names but some of these athletes include Shahid Afridi, Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Chris Gales, Virat Kholi, and so many more. Although their legacies are huge in our opinion they should be way bigger. The competition between them has increased so much that people forget the difference here and there unless on TV. If you take a look at classic cricket the heritage of those teams is something that many need to bring back. Meaning the culture of cricket is missing. With the invention of the T-20, the cricket teams have been moving fast pace and the culture of cricket is changing as it looks more fast-paced and exciting. It’s more bouncy quick and exciting.

Wrap-Up

Cricket history has a lot to do with culture. Where you’re from who you live what you eat. All these things matter when it comes to cricket history. This history is really wealthy and again compared to other sports it’s really safe when it comes to important things such as safety maintenance. I do think it is possible to see cricket in the USA mainstream with each country having their own team here and running more cricket leagues. So USA Bases and ICC coming to America and running international shows. Meaning each country competes against the USA. The sport is really extensive and it takes a lot of time to get good at and a lot of years to develop the skillset needed for cricket as so many talented exist and so many talented athletes get bred every day. It’s important to understand dynamics as well and just like any other sport one must be well connected because with the amount of people and with the amount of choices, it’s important to realize that so much hidden talent goes to waste and so many great people completely get forgetten about. That’s something that will always exist in every sport so it’s important to dive deep into a sport to be an expert.

So What is a Six?

So what is a six? So in cricket, there is a circle boundary. In this circle boundary there is two batters. So let’s say the ball is thrown or bowled, from there the batter hits the ball and aims to get the ball across the boundary or within in a safe spot. So when the ball is hit the batters have to run to opposite ends as there are two wickets/stumps on each end.

What is a Wicket?

What is a wicket? The wickets are three stumps where the bowler's attention is there to get the batter out. So when the bowler bowls from there he wants to hit the wicket. So when the wicket is hit the batter gets out. There are ten batters. Also, the number of overs varies from sometimes fifty overs or twenty overs in a match. Again an over has 6 bowls. So now basically back to cricket let’s say the ball is hit and then the runners run to opposite ends to switch spots, the idea of the outfield is to take the ball and throw it to someone who is called the wicket-keeper who stops the ball from going to the boundary when the bowler delivers on the pitch. When it comes to four runs it has to go across the boundary rolling on the floor. When it comes to 6 runs it has to go in the sky meaning it has to be out of here. As you can see there are so many technical rules if you want to dive deep into the sport you can be here for years. For example, LBW, making sure that only one foot is across the pitch line, and so many more. The sport requires a lot of extensive tools and an extensive rich history to participate in.

The Start of USA Cricket

As an American, it’s great to see the USA have a cricket team. The heritage of the USA doesn't fit the heritage of cricket just yet due to people from expensive heritage being used. This can cause some dilemmas with overseas countries as now everyone is divided with their countries building with their own people due to top-tier sports supply chains etc. Although many didn't see the USA having Indian Culture in their teams, there is a possibility of the USA having a powerful cricket team like the Yankees due to the way they’re wired unless India keeps investing their culture into the cricket teams. Expect American Cricket to be a real possibility in the future and expect the growth of USA cricket to be a real thing especially in New Jersey and New York City as the rise of the brown community is extremely high in these communities. This is something really important to see as our world progresses as now the need for international will be less and not as much need. One will see the USA be more controlling as their main objective is to have control over every country with their powerful tech bases and technology bases. There are some great talented players in cricket in the USA who have that Indian Culture that goes over our heads which has been earned over the years, the same goes for England, etc…
